Patient Responsibility
Patient responsibilities are the instructions that must be followed by patients and their families.
- Reading GlobCare terms and conditions and applying them in accordance with the laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Following the rules and regulations.
- Providing the personal identification.
- Implementing the medical recommendations given to you (the patient) after discussing them with the doctor and being convinced by these recommendations.
- The necessity of providing complete and accurate information about the current disease and everything related to your previous health history.
- Informing the doctor of any health risks you know of that may occur suddenly or unexpectedly.
- Reporting any changes in the patient's health.
- Informing the health care providers of the surgeries they had and the other health facilities they visited.
- Informing the physician about the lack of understanding the treatment plan and interventions.
- Providing accurate and complete information about the health insurance of the patient.
- Following the recommended treatment plan whereby the patient or legal guardian is responsible for their actions and the consequences of refusing the treatment.
- Following the general rules as well as respecting the cultural, spiritual and personal values and beliefs.
- GlobCare condemns any form of violence against health service providers by uttering insulting/offensive words. These acts constitute a violation of the right and honor of the health service provider.
- My family and I (the patient) are committed not to use any audio, visual or video means showing a doctor without prior permission, or defaming doctors directly or indirectly in any of the media. Any breach of these instructions will expose the perpetrator to legal accountability and the company has the right to take the necessary actions.
